This contribution discusses the role of Patient Reported Outcomes (PRO) in improving quality of care. The development of PRO in primary care using scoring methods on various domains such as trust, information, communication, clinical quality, access is important as a quality improvement tool, especially in the context of market disruption and disinvestment due to reforms of the welfare contracts.
