Interfacial regulation is key to photocatalytic performance, yet modulating interfacial charge transfer in heterostructures remains challenging. Herein, a novel nanoflower-like FeP/ZnIn2 S4 Ohm heterostructure is first designed, with Zn atoms in ZnIn2 S4 (ZIS) acting as potential anchoring sites around P atoms, forming liganded Zn-P bonds. Combining 1D FeP nanowires and 2D ZIS nanosheets enhances the mobility of photogenerated electrons. The synergistic chain-type "electron pickup" mechanism of the Ohm heterojunction coupled with the Zn-P bond speeds up electron transport at the interface...

A novel ternary heterojunction material In2 O3 /In2 S3 /ZnIn2 S4 was synthesized, and a photoelectrochemical sensor was fabricated for the non-invasive test of dopamine (DA) in sweat. In2 O3 multihollow microtubules were synthesized and then In2 S3 was formed on their surface to construct a type-I heterojunction between In2 S3 and In2 O3 . ZnIn2 S4 was further introduced to form a Z-scheme heterojunction between In2 S3 /ZnIn2 S4 . Under photoexcitation, the photogenerated holes of In2 O3 transferred to the valence band of In2 S3 , superimposed with the holes produced by In2 S3 , leads to a significantly higher photocatalytic oxidation capacity of In2 O3 /In2 S3 /ZnIn2 S4 ternary composites than that of In2 O3 /In2 S3 ...

INTRODUCTION: Center of pressure (COP) parameters are frequently assessed to analyze movement disorders in humans and animals. Methodological discrepancies are a major concern when evaluating conflicting study results. This study aimed to assess the inter-observer reliability and test-retest reliability of body COP parameters including mediolateral and craniocaudal sway, total length, average speed and support surface in healthy dogs during quiet standing on a pressure plate. Additionally, it sought to determine the minimum number of trials and the shortest duration necessary for accurate COP assessment...

Photocatalytic hydrogen production is a prevalent method for hydrogen synthesis. However, high recombination rate of photogenerated carriers and high activation energy barrier of H remain persistent challenge. Here, the two-step hydrothermal method is utilized to prepare dual S-defect mediated catalyst molybdenum sulfide/zinc indium sulfide (MSv/ZISv), which has high hydrogen production rate of 8.83 mmol g-1 h-1 under simulated sunlight. The achieved rate is 21.91 times higher than pure ZnIn2 S4 substrate...

BACKGROUND: The objective of this research was to investigate how the combination of semen coicis extract and PD-1 inhibitors can potentially work together to enhance the anti-tumor effects, with a focus on understanding the underlying mechanism. METHODS: We obtained the active components and specific targets of semen coicis in the treatment of NSCLC from various databases, namely TCMSP, GeneCard, and OMIM. By utilizing the STRING database and Cytoscape software, we established a protein interaction network (PPI) for the active ingredient of semen coicis and the target genes related to NSCLC...

Organic photoelectrochemical transistor (OPECT) biosensor is now appearing in perspective of public, which characterized by amplified the grating electrode potential by ion transport. In this study, the DNA network formed by the hybridization chain reaction (HCR) detects the target adenosine triphosphate (ATP) by adjusting the surface potential of the new heterojunction of ZnIn2 S4 /MXene. The formation of DNA network amplifies the detection signal of ATP. Significantly, OPECT biosensor could further amplify the signal, which calculated the gain achieved 103 , which is consistent with the gain signal of the previously reported OPECT biosensor...

Chronic implantation of intracortical microelectrode arrays (MEAs) capable of recording from individual neurons can be used for the development of brain-machine interfaces. However, these devices show reduced recording capabilities under chronic conditions due, at least in part, to the brain's foreign body response (FBR). This creates a need for MEAs that can minimize the FBR to possibly enable long-term recording. A potential approach to reduce the FBR is the use of MEAs with reduced cross-sectional geometries...

The binding behaviors of TMs with the ZIS surface in single-atom catalyst formation are analysed using the adsorption energy ( E ads ), partial density of states (PDOS), charge density difference (CDD), and crystal orbital Hamilton population (COHP). The TM@ZIS (TM = Ta, W, Re, Os, Ir, and Pt) shows excellent hydrogen evolution performance with the Gibbs free energy (Δ G H* ) values from -0...

With the aim to develop novel scaffolds for the sustained release of drugs, we initially developed an easy approach for the synthesis of α,ω-homobifunctional mercaptoacyl poly(alkyl oxide)s. This was based on the esterification of the terminal hydroxyl groups of poly(alkyl oxide)s with suitably S -4-methoxytrityl (Mmt)-protected mercapto acids, followed by the removal of the acid labile S -Mmt group. This method allowed for the efficient synthesis of the title compounds in high yield and purity, which were further used in the development of a thioether cross-linked liposome scaffold, by thia-Michael reaction of the terminal thiol groups with pre-formed nano-sized liposomes bearing maleimide groups on their surface...

(S)-4-Benzyl-2-oxazolidinone easily crystallizes during cooling from the melt; (S)-4-Benzylthiazolidine-2-thione does not crystallize during cooling from the melt, but crystallizes easily during subsequent reheating above T g ; and (S)-4-Benzyloxazolidine-2-thione does not crystallize either during cooling from the melt or during reheating...

The regulation of the crystal structure of oxygen evolution cocatalyst (OEC) is a promising strategy for enhancing the photoelectrochemical efficiency of photoanodes. However, the prevailing regulating approach typically requires a multistep procedure, presenting a significant challenge for maintaining the structural integrity and performance of the photoanode. Herein, FeOOH with a local disordered structure is directly grown on a CdIn2 S4 (CIS) photoanode via a simple and mild sonochemical approach. By modulating the localized supersaturation of Ni ions, ultrasonic cavitation induces Ni ions to participate in the nucleation and growth of FeOOH clusters to cause local disorder of FeOOH...

Despite considerable recent advances already made in developing chemically circular polymers (CPs), the current framework predominantly focuses on CPs with linear-chain structures of different monomer types. As polymer properties are determined by not only composition but also topology, manipulating the topology of the single-monomer-based CP systems from linear-chain structures to architecturally complex polymers could potentially modulate the resulting polymer properties without changing the chemical composition, thereby advancing the concept of monomaterial product design...
