Intra-articular injection of drugs is an effective strategy for osteoarthritis (OA) treatment. However, the complex microenvironment and limited joint space result in rapid clearance of drugs. Herein, a nanogel-based strategy was proposed for prolonged drug delivery and microenvironment remodeling.
