BACKGROUND: Clostridium difficile is recognized as a frequent cause of antibiotic-associated diarrhea and colitis. OBJECTIVES: The aim of this review is to investigate the efficacy of antibiotic therapy for C. difficile-associated diarrhea (CDAD).
