1 papers 0 to 25 followers This TRIAL give us some tools for appraise the use of TNK in patients with pulmonary embolism with intermediate risk to develop major complications. I Just say to You three things: 1. Is better to use TNK, because TNK reduces mortality in 56%, OR: 0,44. P=0,02. With a CI: 95%.// 2. Relative risk reduction is 33%, but Absolute risk reduction was 0,9%. So no even one patient get alive with TNK use; and finally I get pretty worried about NNT, that was 110. So I have to treat 110 patients to save a life with TNK. 3. There were signifficant bad outcomes in TNK patients Who treated with. Major extracranial bleeding and haemorrhagic stroke within 7 days after randomization. Just use It carefully and with a specialist opinion.
