[Fournier's gangrene secondary to anorectal trauma].

Fournier's Gangrene (FG) is a rapidly progressive necrotizing fasciitis affecting the male scrotum and perineum, highly uncommon in paediatric patients. Initially considered as an idiopathic disease, it is frequently found associated to debilitating diseases or in immunocompromised patients. Prognosis is more favourable in children than in adults and is dependent of an early diagnosis and a rapid institution of the appropriate medical and surgical therapy.
