Screening for Lung Cancer: Lexicon for Communicating With Health Care Providers.

OBJECTIVE: The effectiveness of lung cancer screening with low-dose CT (LDCT) has been shown by multiple clinical trials, particularly the National Lung Screening Trial. Accurate communication of LDCT results to health care providers is critical to optimal patient care.
