There are many bone block procedures described to treat glenoid bone defects in anterior shoulder instability and most of these techniques apparently result in anatomic reconstruction. However, anatomic restoration of the biconcave glenoid morphometry for bone defects in patients with anterior shoulder instability is nearly impossible.
