New Prenylated ortho-Dihydroxycoumarins from the Fruits of Ficus nipponica.
Chemistry & Biodiversity 2017 September
Two new prenylated ortho-dihydroxycoumarins, designated fipsomin (1) and fipsotwin (2), were isolated from the fruits of Ficus nipponica together with a known prenylated coumarin, apigravin (3). Their structures were established by spectroscopic data and X-ray crystallographic analysis. Compound 1 exhibited antibacterial activity against Bacillus subtilis with an MIC value of 61 μm, while 2 and 3 showed very weak activity.
