[INTEGRATIVE MEDICINE AND CHRONIC LYMPHOCYTIC LEUKEMIA].

Harefuah 2017 Februrary
INTRODUCTION: Chronic lymphatic leukemia is the most common leukemia in the western world. In recent years, new drugs and more effective therapy have been developed, allowing for better outcomes for symptomatic patients. In contrast, patients without evidence of active disease do not require therapy, but there is a need to identify a means of intervention that could prevent progression of their disease, with minimum exposure to any side effects. Herbs, supplements or vitamins have been tested as possible therapeutic intervention for these patients and the available results are summarized in this article.
