Vulvar Fibroepithelial Polyps in a Female Adolescent: A Case Report.

BACKGROUND: Fibroepithelial polyps (FEPs) are benign tumors, of possibly hormone-dependent nature, found in the vulvovaginal region of women of reproductive age.
CASE: A 15-year-old adolescent girl, receiving hormonal contraceptive therapy, who presented with multiple vulvar masses with histopathology consistent with FEP.
SUMMARY AND CONCLUSION: The spectrum of the morphology of FEPs might make their diagnosis challenging. We describe a rare presentation of vulvar FEPs in an adolescent girl receiving hormonal contraceptive therapy.
