Holding Manufacturers of Defective Firearms to Account: Does Restricting Liability Lawsuits Violate the Second Amendment?

Judicial and statutory developments since 2005 have placed considerable roadblocks in the way of legal efforts against the epidemic of gun violence in the United States. Although the Second Amendment is most often cited by those opposed to gun control, it offers a potential opportunity to be invoked in support of harm minimization.
