OBJECTIVE: The objective of this study was to consider the collaboration between mental health services and police in Queensland.
CONCLUSION: Queensland has developed a number of initiatives for intervention and response to incidents involving police and persons with mental illness. Future research should focus on identifying interventions that promote effective resolution of incidents involving police.
