[Towards real recognition of osteoarthritis].

Osteoarthritis suffers from a low profile among society and public authorities. However, the impact of this disease on the daily lives of those affected is considerable. Work remains to be done to ensure greater recognition of the disease and improve patient management. The osteoarthritis forum, which ran from September 2014 to June 2015, put forward proposals brought together in a white paper on osteoarthritis. Mobilisation is underway.
