Dietary quality and pattern analysis can be advantageous over nutrient or food analysis when investigating the association between diet and cardiovascular disease since dietary quality and pattern considers overall foods and nutrients intake rather than focusing on single food or nutrient. We will discuss about the role of dietary quality and dietary pattern in cardiovascular disease.
