For this purpose, the authors analyzed the fourth wave data of the Korean Health Panel Survey (KHPS) that included a sample of 408 people who are elderly with disabilities. The authors found that the unmet health care needs were significantly associated with self-rated health of the people who are elderly with disabilities (β = - .286, p < .05). The authors also found that respect was significantly related to self-rated health (β = .393, p < .05).
