Frontispiece: New insights on the mitochondrial proteome plasticity in Parkinson's disease.

DOI: 10.1002/prca.201500092 Mitochondria are central organelles for neuronal cell physiology and survival, which malfunction has been linked to Parkinson's disease. Proteomics of enriched mitochondrial fractions followed by data integration and network analysis, taking in consideration variables such as model of PD, cell line or tissue origin highlight the modulation of several biological processes.
