Focally Increased MIBG Activity in the Muscle: Real Lesion or LOVENOX Injection Artifact?

A 6-month-old female infant with known left adrenal neuroblastoma and liver metastasis underwent MIBG scan. The images not only revealed elevated activity in the abdomen, but also showed multiple foci of increased activity in the muscles of bilateral upper thighs, which corresponded to the injection sites of LOVENOX.
