[The physiopathology of heart failure].

Heart failure is characterised by the inability of the heart to ensure sufficient blood flow to meet the metabolic needs of the body's tissues. Neurohormanal disorders are preponderant, leading to ventricular remodelingwhich enables the heart to compensate for the haemodynamic insufficiency, until the appearance of clinical symptoms of heartfailure.There are two types of physiopathological impairment: systolic and diastolic.
