[The diagnosis and prognosis of the degree of severity of odontogenic phlegmons using immunological study methods].
Stomatologii︠a︡ 1990 November
Analysis of some parameters of cell-mediated immunity (lymphocyte blastogenesis test--LBGT, T-rosette formation, B-rosette formation, leukocyte migration inhibition test--LMIT) in 106 patients with odontogenic phlegmons has lead the authors to a conclusion on the direct relationship between LBGT and LMIT depression and the disease severity. The detected relationship will be helpful in early diagnosis of grave forms of odontogenic phlegmons and conductive to timely start of immunocorrective therapy.
