[Contribution to improve the effectiveness of preventive interventions in order to reduce the risk of endomyoparametritis and surgical wound infections].

There are few new methods conferred an efficient prevention in order to reduce the incidence of endometritis after cesarean section. The study aim was to compare two techniques using in post partum post-cesarean endometritis prevention: local (vaginal) intra-partum application of 0.25% Clorhexidine solution during elective cesarean deliveries vs intraoperative cesarean section antibioprevention with 2g second generation cephalosporin administered by intravenous injection after clamping the umbilical cord.
