[Papilledema with leukemia and similar processes].

In 11 cases of leukaemia or other lymphatic system disease meningeal affection occurred together with an oedema of optic papilla. In 6 patients (9 eyes) visual accuity fell down till 0.1 or worse. By irradiation of retrobulbar spaces in 4 of 5 cases a marked visual accuity improvement was obtained. In 2 other patients an infiltration of optic nerve was found only post mortem through histological examination. In those patients visual accuity was not diminished.
