PURPOSE: Early depiction of bony erosions in sacroiliac (SI) joints increases the diagnostic accuracy of spondyloarthritis. The new 3D magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) sequence THRIVE (T1-weighted high-resolution isotropic volume examination) can depict cartilage erosions in sacroiliac joints. The aim of the study was to compare the diagnostic capacity of the new MRI sequence 3D THRIVE (T1-weighted high-resolution isotropic volume examination) with the routinely used T1 TSE pulse sequence in the depiction of structural erosions in sacroiliac joints by using MRI sequence zero echo time (zero ET) as a reference standard...

PURPOSE: Simple MRI features are mandatory to facilitate the diagnostics of synovial sarcomas, especially for radiolo-gists outside multidisciplinary sarcoma centres. In this case-series and review, we investigate the main appearance of synovial sarcoma on MRI. MATERIAL AND METHODS: Fifteen histologically proven primary synovial sarcomas who underwent MRI at 2 different sarcoma centres were included in this case series. Patients and their primary synovial sarcomas were examined for age, localization, mean tumour size (in mm), histological grade (G - according to the Fédération Nationale des Centres de Lutte Contre Le Cancer [FNCLCC]), configuration, T2 signal intensity, presence/absence of "triple sign", heterogeneity/homogeneity, borders (well-defined or infiltrative), and intensity of contrast enhancement on MRI...

BACKGROUND: Artificial intelligence (AI)-based automatic lung nodule detection system improves the detection rate of nodules. It is important to evaluate the clinical value of AI system by comparing AI-assisted nodule detection with actu-al radiology reports. OBJECTIVE: To compare the detection rate of lung nodules between the actual radiology reports and AI-assisted reading in lung cancer CT screening. METHODS: Participants in chest CT screening from November to December 2019 were retrospectively included...

PURPOSE: Surgical Gastrostomy has been around since the 19th century but in 1980 the first successful percutaneous endoscopic gastrostomy was reported. A year later the first successful percutaneous gastrostomy was performed using fluoroscopic guidance. The technique for percutaneous insertion and the equipment used has been refined since then and it is now considered the gold standard for gastrostomy insertion. Here we present guidelines for image-guided enteral feeding tubes in adults...
