The strategy for correction of metabolic acidosis and coagulation profile disorders in severe traumatic shock was adduced. There was established, that severe traumatic shock is characterized by prominent metabolic acidosis, the bases deficiency reduction, the lactate content in arterial blood enhancement, as well as ionized calcium in the blood serum, significant enhancement of the partially activated thromboplastin time and protrombin time, what witnesses the prominent coagulation disorders presence on the metabolic acidosis background...

A case of an uncomplicated neurosurgical procedure in a patient affected by a rare bleeding disorder is described. The interest is twofold: first because of the possible influence of underlying coagulopathy in disclosing the vascular anomaly. And second although surgery in factor VII deficiency has been reported before, with and without replacement therapy, to our knowledge, this is the first neurosurgical case in which factor VII concentrate was used. This treatment allowed safe surgery and protected the patient from complications associated with plasma and protrombin complex use...

COMPARATIVE STUDY
V V Klechkovskaia, T A Otroshko, N S Egorov
The paper describes some properties of coagulases and fibrinolytic enzymes isolated from a proteolytic complex produced by Aspergillus ochraceus HP-19 during submerged cultivation on a synthetic medium. Proteolytic enzymes with the plasmocoagulating activity hydrolyzed casein at the maximum rate at 45 degrees C and pH 8.0--10.0. The coagulases were stable at pH 5.0--7.0 and were rather resistant to low pH values. The enzymes were entirely inactivated at 55 degrees C within 20--30 min. The activity of the coagulases was inhibited with the ions of Cu, Co, Ag, Pb, Mn, Zn and Hg (1...
