INTRODUCTION: gastrocolic fistula is an infrequent but severe complication of percutaneous gastrostomy. Clinical suspicion in the presence of chronic diarrhea of unknown etiology manifesting after percutaneous radiological gastrostomy (PRG) tube replacement is key to early detection and treatment.
