PURPOSE: Deep brain stimulation (DBS) of nucleus ventralis intermedius thalami (Vim) is a validated technique for the treatment of essential tremor (ET) in adults. Conversely, its use for post traumatic tremor (PTT) and in paediatric patients is still debated.
