OBJECTIVE: The present study was undertaken to reveal the influence of intracerebroventricular (ICV) benzamil on the dynamics of brain water accumulation in hyponatremic rats. Parameters of brain water homeostasis were continuously monitored, using in vivo magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) methods.
