Present article is devoted to the study of the clinic features of ischemic heart desease associated with acid peptic disease. It was shown the more evident increase of myocardial infarction risk in associated pathology patients. Such results have to be caused by the special risk factor. As such factor we desided to study the hyperhomosysteinemia. During research there were discovered that the lowest vitamin B12 serum level and the highest homocysteine serum level have been registrated in associated pathology (ischemic heart disease and acid peptic disease according to long-term proton pump inhibitor use) patients...

It is set that in 26.9% patients with coronary desease there are the depressed disorders. The easy degree of depression was observed in 61.1% persons, maskable depression--in 27.8% persons, middle degree of depression--in 11.1% persons. For such patients the decline of heart rhythm variability, increase of sympathetic tone, violation of day's rhythm of vegetative nervous system, prevalence of humoral influence on a heart rhythm were revealed.

AIM: to study prevalence of chronic heart failure (CHF) among patients with arterial hypertension (AH) and ischemic heart disease (IHD), and specific features of CHF in patients with different sex and age. MATERIAL AND METHODS: We carried out retrospective analysis of CHF prevalence in 2048 patients with AH and/or IHD and prospective study of distribution of clinical hemodynamic variants of CHF in 285 patients with known data of echocardiography and 6-min walk test...

BACKGROUND/AIM: To promote better treatment outcome, as well as economic benefit it is very important to find out patients with simultaneous occurrence of both aortic and arterial aneurysms. The aim of this prospective study was to determine the frequency and factors affecting femoropopliteal (F-P) segment aneurysms appearance in patients with abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA). METHODS: This study included 70 patients who had underwent elective or urgent surgery of AAA from January 1, 2006 to December 31, 2007...

Ischemic heart desease (IHD) remains actual issue of the current clinical medicine, because, IHD takes a leading position among reasons of death rate of population. Purpose of the study was to find diagnostic features of fat-acid composition of lipid of thrombocytes in patients with stable and unstable course of ischemic heart disease (IHD). 52 patients with an unstable angina pectoris aged 42-65 years and 31 patients with stable angina aged 41-66 years have been observed. Reliable changes in relation of the sum of saturated, unsaturated and poli-unsaturated of fat acids of phosphotides of thrombocytes in patients with unstable course of ischemic heart disease (IHD) have been detected...

REVIEW
O Ruetsch, A Viala, H Bardou, P Martin, M N Vacheron
Weight gain is associated with the use of many psychotropic medications, including antidepressants, mood stabilizers, antipsychotic drugs, and may have serious long term consequences: it can increase health risks, specifically from overweight (BMI = 25-29.9 kg/m2) to obesity (BMI > or =30 kg/m2), according to Body Mass Index (BMI), and the morbidity associated therewith in a substantial part of patients (hypertension, coronary heart desease, ischemic stroke, impaired glucose tolerance, diabetes mellitus, dyslipidemia, respiratory problems, osteoarthritis, cancer); according to patients, psychosocial consequences such as a sense of demoralization, physical discomfort and being the target of substantial social stigma are so intolerable that they may discontinue the treatment even if it is effective...
