Here, we demonstrate that lens-free video microscopy enables us to simultaneously capture the kinetics of thousands of cells directly inside the incubator and that it is possible to monitor and quantify single cells along several cell cycles. We describe the full protocol used to monitor and quantify a HeLa cell culture for 2.7 days. For exploring the multifold helical fabrication of polyoxometalate (POM)-based hybrid compounds, four POM-based crystalline compounds with different meso-helices, H3 [Ag27 (trz)16 (H2 O)6 ][SiW12 O40 ]2 ·5H2 O (1), H[Ag27 (trz)16 (H2 O)4 ][PW12 O40 ]2 ·2H2 O (2), [Ag23 (trz)14 (H2 O)2 ][HSiW12 O40 ] (3), and [Ag23 (trz)14 (H2 O)2 ][PW12 O40 ] (4), were successfully isolated by using the delicate 1,2,3-triazole ligand and silver ions in this work. Using a bi-polymer system consisting of polyvinylpyrrolidone (PVP) and poly(vinylidene fluoride) (PVDF), P25-TiO2 was immobilized into thin film mats of porous electrospun fibers. The aim of the current study was to investigate the effects of FL118, a novel camptothecin analogue, on migration and invasion of human breast cancer cells and the underlying mechanisms of those effects. A 3-(4,5-dimethylthiazol-2-yl)-2,5-diphenyl-2H-tetrazolium bromide (MTT) assay and a plate clone formation assay were used to examine inhibition of the proliferation of MDA-MB-231 cells by FL118. Prostate cancer (PCa) is the most frequently diagnosed type of cancer in Chinese males. Cell-cycle aberration is a hallmark of cancer. Spindle pole body component 25 homolog (SPC25), a component of the Ndc80 complex, serves an important role in regulating mitotic chromosome segregation.
