The human lymphoblastoid cell line TK6 stands out as the most widely employed human cell line in genotoxicity testing, as recommended by various testing guidelines for in vitro assessments. Nevertheless, like many testing cell lines, TK6 lacks functional phase I drug-metabolizing enzymes crucial for chemical genotoxicity evaluations.
