Cardiac output during the use of cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB) is defined by perfusion flow rate, which is calculated by multiplying the perfusion index (PI) on the body surface area. Clinical and echo-phonomechanocardiographic reports. The results concerning 7 subjects with mitral valve prolapse (M.V.P.), all members of the same familiar group, are reported.
