Összefoglaló. Az eltűnőepeút-szindróma ritka, rossz prognózisú kórkép. Az epeutak progresszív destrukciójával, az intrahepaticus epeutak eltűnésével jár, epepangáshoz, biliaris cirrhosishoz, végül májelégtelenséghez vezet. A háttérben álló kiváltó okok között infekciók, ischaemia, gyógyszermellékhatások, illetve daganatos megbetegedések szerepelhetnek. A malignitások közül a leggyakrabban a Hodgkin-lymphomához társult formájával találkozhatunk. Cikkünkben egy fiatal, Hodgkin-lymphomás betegünk esetét szeretnénk bemutatni, akinél az icterus hátterében eltűnőepeút-szindróma igazolódott, melyet egyéb okok kizárását követően szövettani mintavétellel igazoltunk...

Hepatic fibrogenesis is the final result of injury to the liver. Fibrosis could lead to hepatic dysfunction, important in the pathogenesis of other chronic problems. Therefore, understanding the mechanism, accurate diagnosis and staging of it in early stages accelerates the treatment and reduces the prevalence of chirrosis. Treatment strategies of liver problems and detction methods depend on the amount and progression of liver fibrosis and the rate of cirrhosis development. Traditionally the invasive method, liver biopsy, is reference standard to follow progression and stage of fibrosis...

C-type natriuretic peptide (CNP) plasma levels are extremely low and a pre-analytical phase is necessary to assay plasma CNP concentrations. Amino-terminal CNP (NT-proCNP) circulates at higher concentrations than CNP, allowing a direct assay and the use of smaller amounts of plasma. Aim of this study was to evaluate the analytical performance of a direct NT-proCNP assay and to measure its plasma levels in heart failure (CHF), diabetes and chirrosis patients. NT-proCNP and CNP were measured in 130 CHF, 19 patients with diabetes, 24 with hepatic cirrhosis and 73 controls...

UNLABELLED: The choledochal cyst (particularly with congenital origin) is a clinical form from a complex syndrome of ecstasies of the intra-, extra-, or both situations of biliary tree. The disease has until now an unsure etiopathogeny. Very frequent to child, teen-ager and young adult the incidence decreases through the third age. During the period 1960-1998, 13 patients were operated on (annually rate 0.3). The extreme ages of our patients were 5 and 72 years; being operated six children and 7 adults (two of them being 63 and 72 years old)...
