BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: To know the incidence of bacteremia in outpatients (BO), their clinical and epidemiological characteristics and evolution. PATIENTS AND METHOD: We have analyzed the percentage of positive blood cultures and BO in a 10 year period. We have collected year, month, age, gender, first diagnosis, risk factors for bacteremia, microrganism, final diagnosis and diagnosis concordance.
