INTRODUCTION: Cerebral small vessel disease (SVD) and amyloid beta (Aβ) pathology frequently co-exist. The impact of concurrent pathology on the pattern of hippocampal atrophy, a key substrate of memory impacted early and extensively in dementia, remains poorly understood.
