AIMS: The impact of pulmonary hypertension (PH) on in-hospital outcome of either surgical (SAVR) or transcatheter aortic valve replacement (TAVR) was analyzed. The mainstay for the current treatment of severe aortic stenosis includes surgical aortic valve replacement (SAVR) and transcatheter aortic valve implantation (TAVI).
