Inappropriate test methods are increasingly utilized to diagnose allergy. They fall into two categories: I. Tests with obscure theoretical basis, missing validity and lacking reproducibility, such as bioresonance, electroacupuncture, applied kinesiology and the ALCAT-test. These methods lack both the technical and clinical validation needed to justify their use. II. Tests with real data, but misleading interpretation: Detection of IgG or IgG4-antibodies or lymphocyte proliferation tests to foods do not allow to separate healthy from diseased subjects, neither in case of food intolerance, allergy or other diagnoses...

The present study involved 720 patients with metabolic syndrome, diabetes mellitus, coronary heart disease, hypertensive disease, and various combinations of these conditions examined in the course of sanatorium and spa treatment. The patients received either traditional or modified therapy. The latter modality included climato-balneotherapy, hypoxytherapy, bioresonance therapy, and hypercapnotherapy supplemented by the intake of Arfazetin herbal tea, Magnerot tablets, and Chvizhepse mineral water. Results of the study indicate that the proposed combined treatment had more pronounced curative effect compared with traditional therapy in patients of all groups included in this study...

The influence of low-frequency electromagnetic (LF-EM) waves on microorganisms has been a subject of experimental investigations for more than two decades and the results are promising. In parallel, an interesting procedure known as biophysical-information-therapy or bioresonance therapy (BRT) which in principle is based on LF-EM stimulation, has emerged. BRT was discovered in the late 1980's but it is still poorly studied. This paper demonstrates that by transferring metronidazole information to water samples by an electronic amplifier (BRT device), the growth of axenically cultured trophozoites of Entamoeba histolytica and Trichomonasvaginalis is significantly inhibited, compared with those cultures treated with non and sham electro-transferred water samples...

The bioelectromagnetism was gradually discovered and understood throughout history of humanity. J. Bernstein defined the cell's bioelectricity, Wagner calculated electrical conductivity and permeability of cells, starting from the Maxwell's field equations, others discovered "mitogenetic radiation" or "dark luminescence" or "ultraweak bioluminescence" and F...

The mechanisms of action of information-wave technologies on human beings are analyzed in detail and their use in pediatrics is substantiated. The approach using a now-frequency pulse electromagnetic field as an information factor is optimal due to the synchronization of an oscillatory process of a low-frequency pulse electromagnetic field and the rhythm of functioning of different systems of the body, which causes the bioresonance actions the function of an organ or a system.

Trigeminal neuralgia (TN) is an uncommon disorder characterized by recurrent attacks of lancinating pain in the trigeminal nerve distribution. To date, the precise mechanism for TN remains unclear. Among a variety of causes of TN, the microvascular compression (MVC) hypothesis is the most popular one, but controversies still focus on the origin and pathogenesis of the disorder. A number of clinical phenomena still cannot be well explained. We propose a new hypothesis on the pathogenesis of TN - bioresonance...

Effects of exogenous bioresonance oscillations on biological and morphological characteristics of continuous human lung and liver cells were studied. Proliferative activities and viability of cells decreased after exposure to frequencies of 8 and 78.5 Hz. This was paralleled by cytopathic disorders in lung and liver cells. The frequency of 72 Hz exhibited a less intense effect on both cell types. Cell contamination with mycoplasmas was provisionally suppressed after cell exposure according to F44 and F45 programs and to 97...

Electrophoresis using a 5% aqueous extract of mulberry leaves and a 5% aqueous extract of Tavish peat at the right hypochondrium of patients included in the study had beneficial effect on the clinical picture of chronic non-calculous cholecystitis. Specifically, the state of the hepatobiliary system improved judging by the results of staged chromatic duodenal probing, ultrasonographic examination of biliary ducts, and bioresonance diagnostics. Also, positive changes were recorded in energy metabolism. It is recommended that electrophoresis using an aqueous mulberry leaf extract be prescribed to patients with a short duration of the disease and hyperkinetic biliary ducts and intestines...

UNLABELLED: The growing number of patients of various kinds of unconventional medicine poses a question as to the reason of taking up such treatments. Do such people know whether the methods of treatment they opt for are scientifically proven? Aim of the study was to test the knowledge among patients of bioresonance practice on methods of alternative medicine and to determine the break down of those patients based on their sex, age and the level of education. MATERIAL AND METHODS: 152 patients of bioresonance practice were asked to fill in an anonymous questionnaire...

Until recently, alternative doctors and healers used to employ alternative ways of making their alternative diagnoses such as electro-acupuncture, iridiscopy, plantar reflexology, live blood analysis, aura reading and bioresonance methods. Two recent papers report the emergence of unjustified diagnoses, resulting from clinical chemistry testing in commercial laboratories with an alternative philosophy and character. Dutch law considers medicine to be a profession for which no special knowledge is demanded. Even incorrect diagnostic procedures and the diagnosis of non-existent diseases by these laboratories is not illegal, in spite of the resulting detrimental effects to the health and the purse of patients...

Medicine based on natural sciences explains the action of remedies by the chemical bonding of the molecules of the remedy and of the body. This bonding takes place at distances of about 10(-10) m. Several insurance companies pay all medical treatments listed in the Hufeland catalogue of special therapeutical methods. Many of these methods contradict the mechanism mentioned above: Homoeopathy and anthroposophical medicine use substances in which the remedy is not present as matter. Bioenergetic methods like electroacupuncture according to Voll (EAV) and bioresonance use the remedies not inside the body but outside of it...

BACKGROUND AND OBJECTIVE: For about 15 years, one of the authors (JS) has successfully treated patients suffering from rheumatic diseases with individually tested and electronically stored nosodes from tooth diseases and articular rheumatism using exogenic MORA bioresonance therapy. Until today no human study has tested that kind of nosode therapy. The present, partially controlled study aims to test the effectiveness of that type of nosode therapy. PARTICIPANTS AND METHODS: A partially placebo-controlled study was carried out on 15-21 participants (depending on the parameter) who suffered from rheumatic diseases...

By contrast, a number of unproven tests have been proposed for evaluating allergic patients including cytotoxic food testing, ALCAT test, bioresonance, electrodermal testing (electroacupuncture), reflexology, applied kinesiology a.o. There is little or no scientific rationale for these methods. Results are not reproducible when subject to rigorous testing and do not correlate with clinical evidence of allergy...

Clarity of language is an essential element for effective communication. Using the example of bioresonance therapy, this article demonstrates how pseudo-scientific language can be used to cloud important issues. This can be seen as an attempt to present nonsense as science. Because this misleads patients and can thus endanger their health, we should find ways of minimizing this problem.
