Peripheral nerve hyperexcitability (PNH) syndromes are a rare set of neuromuscular disorders that include cramp-fasciculation syndrome (CFS) and Isaacs syndrome (IS). Successful treatment of these diseases has been achieved with antiepileptic medications; however, chronic pain symptoms can persist.
