Two novel MoO4 2- -templated luminescent silver alkynyl nanoclusters with 20-nuclearity ([(MoO4 2- )@Ag20 (C≡C t Bu)8 (Ph2 PO2 )7 (tfa)2 ]·(tfa- ) ( 1 )) and 18-nuclearity ([(MoO4 2- )@Ag18 (C≡C t Bu)8 (Ph2 PO2 )7 ]·(OH) ( 2 )) (tfa = trifluoroacetate) were synthesized with the green light maximum emissions at 507 and 516 nm, respectively. Naturally occurring sesquiterpenes having humulane frameworks are structurally intriguing and possess significant biological profiles. Asymmetric synthesis of the alashanoids B, C, E, and F and 2,9-humuladien-6-ol-8-one is achieved for the first time through a linear synthetic strategy. Intramolecular late-stage Nozaki-Hiyama-Kishi (NHK) coupling is employed to access the eleven-membered macrocyclic core present in the target molecules. The NHK precursors are accessed using the Evans and non-Evans syn and anti -aldol reaction as a key transformation...

BACKGROUND: Understanding the factors that contribute to diagnostic errors is critical if we are to correct or prevent them. Some scholars influenced by the default interventionist dual-process theory of cognition (dual-process theory) emphasise a narrow focus on individual clinician's faulty reasoning as a significant contributor. In this paper, we examine the validity of claims that dual process theory is a key to error reduction. METHODS: We examined the relationship between a clinical experience (staff and resident physicians) and viewing time on accuracy for categorising chest X-rays (CXRs) and electrocardiograms (ECGs)...

Deep learning technology has been successfully used in Chest X-ray (CXR) images of COVID-19 patients. However, due to the characteristics of COVID-19 pneumonia and X-ray imaging, the deep learning methods still face many challenges, such as lower imaging quality, fewer training samples, complex radiological features and irregular shapes. To address these challenges, this study first introduces an extensive NSNP-like neuron model, and then proposes a multitask adversarial network architecture based on ENSNP-like neurons for chest X-ray images of COVID-19, called MAE-Net...

By comparing the formally Cu(II) complexes [CuII(HL1)] (HL12- = dimethyl pentane-2,4-diylidenebis[carbonodithiohydrazonate]) and [CuII(HL2)] (HL22- = dibenzyl pentane-2,4-diylidenebis[carbonodithiohydrazonate]) and the formally Cu(III) complex [CuIII(L2)], distinct changes in transition energies are observed, primarily attributed to the metal oxidation state...

Li-rich antiperovskite (LiRAP) hydroxyhalides are emerging as attractive solid electrolyte (SEs) for all-solid-state Li metal batteries (ASSLMBs) due to their low melting point, low cost, and ease of scaling-up. The incorporation of rotational polyanions can reduce the activation energy and thus improve the Li ion conductivity of SEs. Herein, we propose a ternary rotational polyanion coupling strategy to fasten the Li ion conduction in tetrafluoroborate (BF4-) ion doped LiRAP Li2OHCl. Assisted by first-principles calculation, powder X-ray diffraction, solid-state magnetic resonance and electrochemical impedance spectra, it is confirmed that Li ion transport in BF4- ion doped Li2OHCl is strongly associated with the rotational coupling among OH-, BF4- and Li2-O-H octahedrons, which enhances the Li ion conductivity for more than 1...

Analytic morphomics refers to the accurate measurement of specific biological markers of human body composition in diagnostic medical imaging. The increasing prevalence of disease processes that alter body composition including obesity, cachexia, and sarcopenia has generated interest in specific targeted measurement of these metrics to possibly prevent or reduce negative health outcomes. Typical morphomic measurements include the area and density of muscle, bone, vascular calcification, visceral fat, and subcutaneous fat on a specific validated axial level in the patient's cross-sectional diagnostic imaging...
