This chapter describes a method for the separation and quantification of carotenoids/chlorophylls and tocopherols based on microextraction followed by reverse- and normal-phase HPLC, respectively. Using this method, high-throughput, accurate analysis of these compounds can be performed in leaf and fruit samples.
