PURPOSE: To examine the optical coherence tomography (OCT) and histologic features of Descemet membrane detachment (DMD) to ascertain the involvement of the pre-Descemet layer (PDL). DESIGN: Retrospective, observational case series. METHODS: Clinical, histopathologic, and OCT features of a cohort of 41 cases with diagnosis of DMD from 4 centers were studied.
