Primary care physicians play an important role in chronic pain management, but many residents and physicians feel poorly prepared to manage it. METHODS: Data were collected as part of the 2016 Council of Academic Family Medicine Educational Research Alliance (CERA) Program Director Survey, which was sent electronically to 484 program directors in the United States.
