Acute liver failure treatment nowadays is a common problem in modern hepatology, despite of well studied pathogenesis and treatment modalities, lethality of the disease is still high, and in 21 century in the world's best clinics it accounts to 70-80%. For uptake of isolated hepatocytes we uses the fermental-mechanical method modified by Korukhov (1983) for the treatment of acute liver failure by hepatocyte allotransplantation and to stimulate liver reparative regeneration processes, which gives a chance to liver for the function restoration by replacement of injured hepatocytes with transplanted liver cells...

The dynamics of vitamin E dose-dependence in the blood serum of Vistar line male rats after the total single irradiation with 60Co gamma-quantums in 0.2; 0.5; 1.0; 3.0 and 5.0 Gy doses (during 120 days); 7.0 Gy (during 20 days); 9.0 Gy (during 15 days) were studied. The vitamin E content values both in the norm and in 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 65, 90 and 120 days after irradiation are given. The experiment data show that the dose dependence of vitamin E products has wavelike character. The possible causes of the vitamin E level decrease under intake of small and high doses of gamma-irradiation are discussed...

The dynamics of malonic dialdehyde (MD) dependence in the blood serum of Vistar line male rats on the intensity of irradiation after a total single irradiation with 60Co gamma-quantums in 1.0 and 5.0 Gy doses (during 30 days); 9.0 Gy (during 15 days) were studied. The MD contents values both in the norm and in 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20 and 30 days after irradiation are given. The experimental data demonstrated the different sensitivity of the final LPO parameters to the doses of 1.0, 5.0, 9.0 Gy radiation depending on the dose power, the changes of these parameters being kept for a long time after irradiation...

THE PURPOSE: To reveal the structural basis of protective influence of the natural ceolite enterosorbents in fluorine intoxication. METHODS: Fluorine effect was realized by exposure of 15 rats of Vistar's line in electrolysis shops of an aluminium plant. 15 animals were in normal ecological conditions and consisted the control group. The both groups received the natural ceolite. In the all rats the hysto-stereo-metric structure of intestinal mucosa has studied. RESULTS: The use of ceolite promoted to decrease of necrosis volume and to increase of immune and extrasecretory structure activity in experimental animals after fluorine effect...

Genistein was defined to be an allosteric xanthine oxidase inhibitor in the concentrations 0.1-4.0 microM and xanthine oxidase activator with superoxide scavenging activity in the concentrations 5.0 microM and higher. But the most effective allosteric binding with the highest affinity was observed in the genistein concentrations 0.1-1.0 microM. Intraperitoneum injections of genistein (500 micrograms/kg) during three days with the interval 24 hours decrease xanthine oxidase activity in the liver, lung and brain of the Vistar rats...

Effects of an exposure of male vistar rats to 60Co--quanta in the doses of 0.2; 0.5; 1.0; 3.0; 5.0 Gy for 120 days; 7.0 Gy for 20 days and 9.0 Gy for 15 days on the dynamics of the thymic nucleinic acids have been studied. Experiments were conducted in 0.5, 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 15, 20, 30, 45, 65, 90, 120 days after an exposure to radiation. Essential shifts in metabolism of the nucleinic acids determined on the base of changes in their contents and ratio RNA/DNA have been established. The mass reduction of a radiosensitive organ was mainly due to a decrease in its cellular tissue...

A six-months continuous experiment was carried out on 48 viripotent white female rats, line "Vistar", divided into one control and three experimental groups of 12 rats each. The experimental groups received drinking water containing nitrates 50, 100 and 500 mg/dm3, respectively and the control group-7.0 +/- 0.03 mg/dm3. All animals were fed with a standard vivarium food containing 22.0 +/- 0.1 mg/kg nitrates. Upon expiry of the test period the animals were killed. Blood parameters and some internal organs were studied by macro- and microscopy...

The results of the studies devoted to defining the content of biogenic monoamines and their metabolites in different parts of cerebrum in rats of two inbred Vistar and Krushinsky--Molodkina lines are presented. It is proved that the intact rats of Krushinsky--Molodkina line differ from Vistar rats in the higher contents of adrenaline and dopamine of the hypothalamus and striatum, of serotonin in the hypothalamus. Also, the tendency to lowering noradrenaline in the hypothalamus and striatum, as well as the higher activity of the pathways of oxidative desamination and O-methylation in the hypothalamus was shown...

The peculiarities of gene expression in line and hybrid rats in the normalcy and after partial hepatectomy were studied. It was shown that the relationship between the RNA synthesis rate in chromatin and RNA transport in the cytoplasm as well as the correlation between the RNA transport rate and the activity of the protein-synthesizing mechanism vary in animals with different genotypes. After partial hepatectomy the hybrids have their S-period of the cell cycle earlier than the line animals. The hybrids do not differ from the parental forms in the rate of RNA chromatin synthesis; however, the newly synthesized RNA of the hybrids in transported into the cytoplasm 5...

Problems associated with histophysiology of the thymus, including such as differentiation of thymocytes, their relationships with the reticuloepithelial cells, the capacity of the latter for secretion, the role of the stratified epithelial bodies, the hematothymus barrier, etc...

COMPARATIVE STUDY

Four isoenzymes of hexokinase were isolated by means of chromatography on DEAE-cellulose from soluble fraction of Vistar rat liver tissue. One of the isoenzymes (IV) was a glucokinase. Four fractions were also found in starch gel electrophoresis. These fractions catalyzed phosphorylation of glucose. Besides alterations in the total activity of hexokinase the changes in isoenzyme spectra were observed in carcinogenesis, caused by diethyl nitrosoamine. In the course of development of the blastomatose process in liver tissue content of isoenzymes I, II and, especially, of III was increased, and content of isoenzyme IV was decreased...
