AIM: Takotsubo cardiomyopathy is a cardiac syndrome characterized by reversible left ventricular dysfunction, ischemic changes on electrocardiogram, elevation of cardiac biomarkers, absence of obstructive coronary artery disease in the setting of various stressing conditions.
