COMPARATIVE STUDY
Theodora Benedek, Beata Jako, Imre Benedek
The purpose of this study was to demonstrate the relationship between the presence and amount of a low-density core (LDC) with a CT density < 30 Hounsfield units (HU) by coronary computed tomography angiography (CCTA) and IVUS-derived markers of vulnerability in the culprit lesions (CL) of patients with acute coronary syndromes (ACS).In 43 patients with ACS, 105 coronary plaques were scanned using CCTA and IVUS for the quantitative and qualitative assessment of vulnerability markers. The presence of a low attenuation plaque (LAP) was identified in 67...

A 32-year-old male patient was diagnosed with nodular lymphocyte-predominant Hodgkin lymphoma. Staging FDG PET-CT detected a large right axillary lymph node conglomerate and splenic manifestation. Interim PET-CT following two cycles of ABVD chemotherapy revealed good metabolic response with the exception of a single axillary lymph node. A second "interim" PET-CT after two further cycles showed a similar result. A biopsy of the metabolically active non-palpable lymph node was performed using radioguided occult lesion localization (ROLL) with ultrasound guidance...

1. TASK OF THE PROGRAM. The task of the program is to test the knowledge of applicants at the examination for specialists degrees. The applicants must answer a series of multiple choice test questions, 40% of them are connected to a medical diagnostic image of different modalities e.g., x-ray, 2D gray scale ultrasound, CT, MRI, and endoscopy images. The answer may need simple measurements and finding target areas on the image. The program manages to: test 20 applicants simultaneously in a network, handle a database of questions and images, and document and print out exam results...
