In the present report, silver nanoparticles were synthesized using Piper nigrum extract for in vitro cytotoxicity efficacy against MCF-7 and HEP-2 cells. Superparamagnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (MNPs) were prepared and coated with chitosan (CS). The chitosan-magnetic iron oxide nanoparticles (CS-MNPs) were characterized using Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy (FT-IR), X-ray diffraction (XRD), vibrating sample magnetometry (VSM), and the morphology of the particles was studied by transmission electron microscopy (TEM). The immature fiber ( im) mutant is one type of cotton fiber mutant with unique characteristics of non-fluffy cotton bolls. Compared to its near-isogenic wild type Texas Marker-1 (TM-1), im fiber has a thin secondary cell wall and is less mature. We report a new approach for the synthesis of heterohexa- and heterodecametalates via the use of non-aqueous, microwave-assisted reaction conditions. The two novel molybdovanadates have been isolated and characterized in the solid and solution states using single-crystal X-ray diffraction, FT-IR, UV/Vis, multinuclear NMR spectroscopy, and ESI-MS. The relative stabilities of the possible structural isomers were probed using dispersion-corrected DFT calculations for both polyoxometalate systems.
