Bronchoscopic interventions are valuable adjuncts to the pharmacologic therapy for chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). But different phenotypes of COPD patients showed different clinical responses to the same or similar therapy. The optimal selection of bronchoscopic interventions for COPD patients also needs to be based on the phenotypes.
