Limited organ supply is currently the major obstacle to the transplantation programs around the world. As an alternative to increase the organ donation rate, we undertook a preliminary transplant coordinator program study, during a 6 month period, in five public hospitals, as part of the National Transplant Program of the Centro Nacional de Diálisis y Trasplante.
