BACKGROUND: Point of care ultrasound (POCUS) is commonly used in adult specialties, pediatric emergency medicine, and neonatal and pediatric critical care. Specifically, in the field of pediatric nephrology, POCUS plays a valuable role in the critical inpatient and outpatient settings.
