Infliximab, an inhibitor of TNF-α, is one of the most widely used biological disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs. Non-coding RNAs (ncRNA) are involved in essential biological processes in all three domains of life. The regulatory potential of ncRNAs in Archaea is, however, not fully explored. In this study, RNA-seq analyses identified a set of 29 ncRNA transcripts in the hyperthermophilic archaeon Sulfolobus acidocaldarius that were differentially expressed in response to biofilm formation. This work demonstrates that ligand-to-ligand interactions between achiral bis-β-diketonate (BTP) and chiral bis(4-phenyl-2-oxazolinyl)pyridine [( R)- or ( S)-Ph-Pybox] are successfully directed to the fabrication of a D2 -symmetrical alternating circular helicate with the general formula [( R)- or ( S)-Ph-Pybox]4 (LnIII )4 (BTP)6 . The lanthanide(III) LnIII assemblies (LnIII 4 - RRRR and LnIII 4 - SSSS) have a nanometer-size squarelike grid (interatomic distances > 10 Å). Fluoromonomers are difficult to polymerize through a coordination mechanism owing to the strong chelation between fluorine and catalysts and the electron-deficient double-bond. We report herein the unprecedented polymerization of para-fluorostyrene (pFS) with excellent activity (1.12×107  g molLn -1 h-1 ), distinguished syndioselectivity (rrrr >99 %) and high conversion (98.4 %) using rare-earth-metal catalysts bearing a pyridyl methylene fluorenyl ligand. The structure and crystallization properties of a norbornene end-functionalized syndiotactic polypropylene (sPP) macromonomer (MMsPP) with [rrrr] = 80 mol % and molecular mass Mn = 3600 g/mol and corresponding comb-like poly(macromonomer) (pMMsPP) with Mn = 100000 g/mol have been investigated using wide angle (WAXS) and small angle (SAXS) X-ray scattering, atomic force (AFM), transmission electron (TEM), and optical (OM) microscopy.
