OBJECTIVE: Our objective was to analyze factors predicting outcomes after a total pancreatectomy and islet autotransplantation (TP-IAT). BACKGROUND: Chronic pancreatitis (CP) is increasingly treated by a TP-IAT. Postoperative outcomes are generally favorable, but a minority of patients fare poorly.
